The dimension of the tornado simulator is 40 inch square and 9 foot tall.
It uses 2 inline duct fans in the bottom box to pressurize the 8 foot
pvc pipe and they have holes to direct the air in a circular motion
inside parameter of the pipes.
There is a box fan on the top to bring
the circular motion to the top, making a vortex. The slower the fan
speed the more rope like and snake like the tornado.
These pictures were taken at my annual conference for the County
Weed Director's Association of Kansas. There were approximately 160
persons for 3 days of the conference.
